Safe Food Handling (HLTFS7A)
For participants successfully completing this course an accredited certificate from Mediquest will be rewarded. This certificate is required by all workers in the HACC and aged care sectors.

This short course is specifically designed for the people handling food in the workplace.

Assisting with Self Medication (CHCCS401A)
For participants successfully completing the assessment tasks from this course a nationally accredited certificate from Mediquest will be rewarded.
This two day course is designed for workers in the HACC sector. Participants will gain an understanding of the legal responsibilities, organisation policies and procedures, types of medications and the effect of medication.

Communicating with people with disabilities
This course is designed for people working with people with communication difficulties. During this session different methods of communication will be discussed and all participants will make a communication booklet that can be used to assist a person with communication difficulties.

Recovery and treatment for CALD people with mental illness
In this workshop participants will discuss the many beliefs of mental illness and recovery methods. Participants will examine the ways people from ethnic communities perceive mental illness and the treatments and recovery methods used.
