DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES TEAM MANAGER

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead one of our highly respected interdisciplinary teams.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading, supervising and supporting a diverse team of professionals to deliver quality support services to people with a disability and their carers/families from ethnic backgrounds. You will be part of the senior management team and participate in developing and guiding strategies that accomplish ADEC’s mission.

You will have a health, welfare or social sciences related degree; demonstrated experience in supervising a team of community services workers, proven skills in analysis, review and evaluation of client services; and outstanding relationship building skills.  You will also be keenly aware of expansion opportunities.

SOCIAL MARKET RESEARCH

Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities is seeking a social marketing organisation to undertake research that provides the Board and management with a clear understanding of the perception that ADEC holds in the eyes of its key stakeholders.

ADEC is a statewide nfp based in Preston, builds bridges between people with disabilities from diverse backgrounds and service providers and systems.

Administration Officer –
Commencement of a new Respite Program


Fixed term for 3 years
4 days a week (0.8 EFT)
Salary range $36,269 pro-rata, in accordance with the ADEC EBA
Initially located in Preston, and then will permanently work in a Respite
House – within the North West HACC Region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Must be culturally sensitive
  • Familiar with the use of interpreter services:
  • Help Support establishment of the Program
  • Day to day office duties
  • MS Office Intermediate/Advanced
  • Support the Payroll program
  • reconciliation
  • Rostering of Staff
  • Prioritising of work requirements.
  • Excellent communication and written skills

Applicants with certificate IV in disability or Certificate III in aged Care preferably.

The successful applicant must be able to work autonomously, with little or no supervision.
