Artability is an art show designed to showcase the art of ethnic people who have a disability.

A work of art speaks directly to the viewer. When a work of art is viewed, there is no way of telling either the mental or physical state of the artist. These matters are irrelevent. What matters is our reaction to the art.

For the first time in Melbourne, ethnic artists who have a disability, participated and enjoyed one another's art, at the one place at the one time.

ArtAbility will run again in 2006, more inclusive and larger. Artability 2006 is scheduled as follows:

Opening Night: 24th October 2006 at 11am

Duration: The exhibition will run daily from 10:00am-5:00pm from 21st-29th October 2006

Where: Gasworks Arts Park, Albert Park, Melbourne
